How long will it take to receive my order?
All of the items in my shop are ready-to-ship (unless stated otherwise). We package and ship 1-2 times a week, so it should take 2-5 business days for you to receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. It may take a few days for tracking to update since postage is printed before orders are pulled and prepared. Please be patient with us. We aren't a staffed warehouse with round-the-clock employees (Amazon Prime, we're looking at you), we are a very small company with a very small staff (aka one very busy designer/owner and her trusty seamstress/virtual assistant) and are working as fast as we possibly can.
If you order during a sale or restock, it WILL take longer due to the high volume of orders we receive. Please be patient with us, we are getting your order out to you as soon as possible. Shipping estimates are approximate and sometimes it may take a longer. All orders are shipped via USPS with tracking numbers sent directly to your inbox. If you're waiting for your order and haven't received a tracking number yet, check your junk folder before emailing us. More often than not you'll find your shipping confirmation email there with tracking information.
Do orders include insurance?
No, all standard shipping orders do not include insurance. Once an item is shipped and issued a tracking number, Candy Kirby Designs cannot be held liable for lost packages. If you would like to add insurance to your order (at an additional cost), please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org before placing your order so arrangements for additional shipping charges can be made.
Do you send out shipping confirmations with tracking once at item ships?
Yes! As soon as postage is printed, an automatic email is sent to the email entered at checkout. It contains all shipping information as well as tracking numbers. Please check your junk or spam folders if you don't see yours. Also, what you see on your USPS tracking information is exactly what I see. If you have questions about your package in transit, talk to your local postmaster or call 1-800-ASK-USPS, they have much more information than I do and can help you accordingly.
Do you offer combined shipping?
Due to the volume of orders we receive, we no longer offer combined shipping. However, our shipping prices are determined by item weight, not number of items, so in most cases you will pay the same regardless.
Can I add another item to my order?
Due to the volume of orders we receive, we cannot add to existing orders. You would need to place an additional order.
I've changed my mind on an item I was getting. Can I switch to a different one?
No, sorry! Once an order is placed, no substitutions or changes can be made. We start processing orders very quickly. If you'd like a different item, place another order!
What is your return policy?

I bought something and used a discount code or got it on sale. Can I return it?

0.00-0.50 lbs: $7.50
0.51-2.00 lbs: $18.00

You're sold out of an item I want. Do you offer preorders or allow backorders? How do I know if you will restock it?
I'm sorry, but we do not offer preorders or backorders at this time. I restock continually, so keep checking back or sign up for a notification to email you when that item is back in stock (a link can be found on each product's page). Sometimes I discontinue an item or print and that will be noted in the item's description, usually towards the bottom.
Do you do custom orders?
Not at this time.
Why are things in your shop so expensive?
I design all of the fabric that is in my shop. I have different printers that print them exclusively for me. Because my fabrics are made in the USA as well as printed in the USA just for me, it's very, very expensive. I strive for quality and perfection with all of the items in my shop to ensure you are getting what you're paying for.
Do you gift wrap?
No. All orders are packaged nicely and our invoices do not include pricing, so many people just ship items from us directly to the recipient.
